Not sure where to start?
Most people do not search for a clinic because they already know the diagnosis. Start with the reason you are looking for care.
Several symptoms at once, or something feels different? Internal Medicine can consider the wider clinical picture rather than forcing one symptom into one category.
Start With Internal MedicinePersistent fatigue is not one diagnosis. An assessment can consider your history, sleep, medications, lifestyle and previous results before deciding what is relevant.
Book a Fatigue AssessmentBring previous reports or results and discuss what they mean for you, what may need follow-up and what may not need action.
Review My ResultsPreventive care can review your health history, relevant risk factors, previous screening and what may be appropriate to monitor next.
Ask About Preventive CareThese numbers can be reviewed together with your health history, existing medication, risk factors and follow-up needs.
Book an Internal Medicine VisitFatigue, weight changes, sleep changes, thyroid questions or existing hormone results can be reviewed through AAMC’s Hormone Health pathway.
Explore Hormone HealthIf weight is affecting your health or sits alongside blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure or other metabolic concerns, book a physician-led assessment.
Explore Medical Weight ManagementTell us what is happening in your own words. You do not need to choose the right specialty before contacting the clinic. You can also browse the health concerns we help with.
Focused adult care pathways
AAMC also provides focused adult pathways that build on its Internal Medicine foundation.

Internal Medicine is the clinical foundation of AAMC Polyclinic. It is often the right place to begin when an adult has several concerns at once, an ongoing condition needs review, results do not make sense on their own, or the correct next step is unclear.
A consultation can bring together your medical history, current symptoms, medications, previous investigations and relevant examination findings.
What happens next depends on the individual assessment and may include monitoring, relevant investigations, medication review, treatment planning, follow-up or referral when another type of care is more appropriate.

Your Internal Medicine Physician
Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Jose Lopez leads AAMC’s Internal Medicine and preventive care in Business Bay. His consultations are designed around the reason the patient came in rather than a predetermined package or treatment.
That may mean reviewing ongoing symptoms, health history, current medications, previous test results and relevant risk factors before deciding what should happen next.
For someone unsure which specialty they need, Internal Medicine can provide a practical first clinical assessment and help determine whether the issue can be managed within AAMC or needs another type of care.
Care before something feels wrong
A medical appointment does not have to begin with illness. Preventive care gives adults an opportunity to review where their health stands.
At AAMC, preventive care sits within Internal Medicine. A consultation can consider personal and family history, previous results, medication, age and relevant risk factors before deciding what screening, monitoring or follow-up may be appropriate.
The goal is not to order every available test. It is to understand which health information is useful for you.

Depending on the assessment, the next step may include monitoring, relevant testing, treatment review, preventive care, follow-up or referral.

AAMC does not currently provide direct insurance billing for patient-paid outpatient treatment.
Patients pay the clinic for their visit and may submit a reimbursement claim to their insurer where their policy allows. AAMC can provide relevant clinic documentation such as the official itemised invoice and payment receipt. Additional medical documentation may also be supplied where appropriate.
Coverage, prior authorisation, reimbursement amounts and required documents depend on the individual policy and insurer. Patients should check their out-of-network benefits directly with their insurer. AAMC cannot guarantee reimbursement.
Come prepared
You do not need a perfect medical history before booking, but a few details can make the consultation more useful.
If you have symptoms, it can help to remember roughly when they started and whether anything has changed. Do not stop prescribed medication or change treatment before the visit unless the clinician responsible for your care has advised you to do so.
