Some clinics sell “full body checkups” with a long, identical list of tests for everyone. AAMC works differently. Your evaluation begins with a medical consultation, and tests are agreed with your doctor based on your age, history, lifestyle and concerns. That means fewer unnecessary tests — and more attention on the ones that matter to you.
Costs are discussed openly before anything is done, so you always know what you are agreeing to.

How an Evaluation Works at AAMC
Step 1
Conversation first
Your doctor asks about your health history, lifestyle, medications and what prompted the visit. This shapes everything that follows.
Step 2
Focused examination
Where relevant, measurements such as blood pressure and a focused physical check give the conversation a clinical grounding.
Step 3
Tests only where they add value
Tests are discussed and agreed together. Nothing is automatic — the point is a plan that fits you, not a fixed package.
Step 4
A clear written summary
You leave knowing what was found, what it means, and what — if anything — should happen next, including follow-up or referral.
